Adjusting intake according to fish consumption
- If your child eats 2 to 3 servings of fatty fish per week (such as sardines, mackerel, or herring), no additional DHA intake is necessary.
- If they eat around one serving per week, we recommend a supplement of 250 mg of DHA three times a week.
- And if fatty fish are rarely on the menu, a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA is the best way to ensure a consistent supply.
